Elaine Marie Alger Jones, age 83, passed away on June 22, 2015 in Salt Lake City.
Elaine was born December 5, 1931 in Price to Granville Grant and Hettie Marie Judd Alger.
She married Warren L. Jones, Sr. in Clark County, Nevada on January 20, 1951.
She was an avid reader.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (David) Stott; sons, Warren L. (Fran) Jones Jr., Craig A. (Sylvia) Jones, Scott A. (Sue) Jones, Richard T. (Wendy) Jones, and Thomas A. (Athena) Jones; son-in-law, David Lindblad; sixteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Valynn Miller and JoAnn McCoy. Preceded in death by her husband, Warren L. Jones, Sr.; daughter, Lisa Marie J. Lindblad; granddaughter, Michelle Jones; parents, and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, where friends and family may visit one hour prior to the services.
Interment will follow in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
