Franklin J. Jennings, 59, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away June 20, 2015 after a very brief stay under hospice care in Golden Living Center, Gettysburg, PA. He was born on October 14, 1955 in Denver, CO.

Mr. Jennings served in the US Army. He married Denise A. (Malick) Jennings, on May 4, 1999 in Hutchinson, KS. They were married 15 years, before Denise passed away April 9, 2014.

Surviving are his children: Brandi Dawn Bonilla, and her husband, Josh, Hutchinson, KS; Richard T. Jennings, husband of Kat, Hutchinson, KS; Sarah E. Jennings, wife of Kara, McPherson, KS; his stepchildren: Jonathan Kemp, husband of Brandy Kates, Castle Rock, CO; Carolynn Denise Francis, wife of John Jr., Haysville, KS; grandchildren: Sabrina and David Jennings, Hutchinson, KS; Ann Marie Jennings, McPherson, KS; step grandchildren: Lillian Harper Kemp, Marcus Jenkins, and Leevonnie Kates III, all of Castle Rock, CO; Samantha Francis, Allison Cook, and Marissa Riebel, all of Haysville, KS; two sisters: Patti Black, Ukiah, CA, and Becki Preedy, Giltner, NE; his mother and father-in-law: Jack and Janet Malick, Waynesboro, PA; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews; and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his oldest sister.


Mr. Jennings will be buried along with his wife, both with military honors in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, is handling the arrangements.
