David was a 1984 graduate of Cherokee High School and a 1988 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He served in the United States Army for 26 years. Colonel Snodgrass received his Master of Defense Studies from the National University of Bangladesh and his Master of Military Arts and Sciences from the United States Army Command and General Staff College. He also attended the United States Naval War College and received a Master of National Security Strategy. His last assignment was as an instructor at the National War College in Washington, DC. David is a veteran of the Gulf War, Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
