Linda Sue Ivey, age 70, of Hickory, KY passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at her residence.
She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church of Lowes and a retiree from the Graves County School System.
Mrs. Ivey is survived by two sons: Marshall (Kristi)Ivey of Mayfield and Tim (Lesley) Ivey of Mayfield; two daughters: April Ivey (Brad) Cornelius of Mayfield and Angela Ivey Thomas of Hickory; two brothers: Wayne Gibbs and Seldon Gibbs, both of Hickory; two sisters: Bonnie Burnett of Melber and Janice (Ricky) Wilson of Hickory; nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband: Ned C. Ivey; two brothers: Calvin and Clifton Gibbs; one sister: Reda Ivey and her parents: Curtis and Virgie Atherton Gibbs.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ivey will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Byrn Funeral Home of Mayfield with Rev. Allen Morris and Rev. Glen Cope officiating. Interment will follow at North Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Marshall Ivey, Tim Ivey, Seth Ivey, Hunter Ivey, Mark Ivey, Aaron Ivey, Brett Willie and Royce Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Cornelius, Brent Burnett and David Cope.
Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the funeral home.
