Robert R. Ketchum
Robert R. "Bob" Ketchum, age 59, of Moulton, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born on December 30, 1955, in Kenosha, the son of Roland M. "Hermie" and Rosemary (Martin) Ketchum. He attended school in Bloomington and Platteville and graduated from Platteville High School in 1974. Upon graduation, Robert entered the United States National Guard and served his country until his honorable discharge in 1977. In 1980 he joined the Boilermakers of local 107 in Milwaukee where he was a welder for 35 years. Robert enjoyed nothing more than time with his children, grandchildren, family, friends, and his dog, Blondie. When he retired, he threw out his watch and calendar and spent all his days doing only the things he enjoyed: traveling to his grandchildren's games, golfing, hunting, and fishing. Robert brought laughter to every person he crossed paths with and was a true blessing to every life he touched.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Roland on September 12, 2006, and his brother, William on September 1, 2008.
