Services were held Oct. 16 for Arthur C. Lang, 83, who passed away in a Boerne nursing home. Rev. A. A. Gittner officiated at services in the St. Anthony's Church in Harper and interment followed in that cemetery. Lang was born Aug. 25, 1901, and had been employed by Gillespie County in the road maintenance department. Survivors include nine children: Robert Lang, Leo Lang, Herbert Lang, Clark Lang and Arthur Lang, Jr., all of Boerne, Charles and Oliver of San Antonio, Monroe Lang of Harper, and Mrs. Don Raines of Oklahoma City. Also surviving are 49 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren. Funeral services were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.
