Christine L. Voyda Blair, 7763 Park Place, Masury, died of natural causes at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. She was 59.
Mrs. Blair was born on Nov. 8, 1946, in Sharon to John M. and Anna E. Dobay Voyda.
A homemaker, she was a Roman Catholic.
Mrs. Blair was a graduate of Hickory High School Class of 1964.
Her husband, Ira D. Blair, whom she married May 23, 1975, survives at home.
Also surviving are: three sons, Kevin Blair, on active duty in the U.S. Navy, Bremerton, Wash.; Brian Schimp, husband of Michelle, Fayetteville, N.C.; and Todd Schimp, husband of Laura, Tidioute, Pa.; three sisters, Anna Marie Sabo, wife of John D., Hartville, Ohio; Elizabeth Cicca, wife of Michael, Escondido, Calif.; and Barbara Scoccia, husband of Vincent, Murrells Inlet, S.C.; and four grandchildren.
