Mr. Cox was a native of Randolph County, was a 1975 graduate of Asheboro High School, and attended High Point University. Tyler was employed in the HVAC industry for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by mother Trudy Bost Cox. Tyler enjoyed gardening, cooking, music, and was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his son, Fletcher Donald Cox of the home; father, Donald B. Cox of Asheboro; sister, Krista (Mark) Davidson of Asheboro; and brother, Craig (Beth H.) Cox of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Connie Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
