Chad Tucker left this world tragically at the age of 20. He was born in Glendale and raised by the most incredible single mother any of us could ever know. He graduated from Rimrock Public High School in 2011, the Valedictorian of his class. A second degree black belt and former Instructor at KC's Family Tae Kwon Do, he is revered by and has inspired many children and adults in the community. Chad was an incredible musician, specializing in guitar, but could also sing, play keyboards, bass and drums. He was a scholar of the world and martial arts, music, literature, and art were his passions. Most recently, Chad was learning the welding trade and was proud to be an apprentice of Dale Dees at Blue Line Grizzlies. He is survived by his parents, Kathy and Joe Babcock, his brothers Blake and Andrew, his Grandparents Corkey and Elaine Hill, his Uncle Corkey and Aunt Christine, his God Daughters Rachel and Cheyenne who adored him, his extended family including Uncle Darren, cousin Mason, cousin Alex, the Day Family, and of course, many, many close friends and his martial arts family. Chad's energetic spirit made him a friend to everyone he met and his heart guided him to help anyone who needed it, traits that make us all better for having known such an incredible soul. He will be missed.
A memorial service for Chad will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1:00pm at Verde Valley Christian Church in Cottonwood.
