She was born February 1, 1918 in Kibler to the late George and Mary Nash Robinson.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Kibler Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. She loved sewing, and working crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell L. Smith.
She is survived by two daughters, Helen Penny and husband Jim of Van Buren, and Betty Gunn and husband Jim of Kibler; a son, Ralph Smith and wife Sandra of Kibler; three grandsons, and one great-grandson.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. The committal service will be private.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons, James Gunn, Michael Gunn, Bryan Penny, and Colton Penny.
