Agnes Hodges “Aggie” Moseley, 96, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Donalsonville Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Friendship United Methodist Church with Rev. David Tart, Rev. Al Reese and Rev. Garth Duke-Barton officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery with Grover Kelley, Jim Jernigan, Charles Palmer, Jack Palmer, Bert Palmer, Albert Hammack, Jimmy Hodges, Bob Hodges, Peyton Hodges, Dee Hodges, and Don Mills serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 her residence, 508 S. Morris Avenue in Donalsonville, GA. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.

Aggie was born May 23, 1919 in Brinson, GA, the daughter of Dewitt C. Hodges and Alice Trulock Hodges. A graduate of Brinson High School, she received her M.S. in Education from Georgia Southern College. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Women’s Club of Donalsonville, and Friendship United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, J. Brown Moseley and his wife, Susan, of Bainbridge, GA; her sister, Mary Jane Hodges Dunlap of Dalton, GA; her grandsons, Jay Moseley and his wife, Kelly, and Reese Moseley; and her great-grandson, J. Brown “Tripp” Moseley, III. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. E. E. Moseley; her daughter, Mary Moseley; her brothers, Andrew Hodges, James Hodges, Glenn Hodges, Peyton Hodges, and Kenneth Hodges; and her twin sister, Alice Hodges Palmer Miller.
