She was born April 13, 1957, in Waterloo, daughter of Roger and Frances White Miller.
She married Allen Benson on Oct. 7, 1983.
Teresa graduated from Columbus High School, and then earned an associate's degree in accounting from Hawkeye Institute of Technology. She worked for Quality Accounting and Tax Service, and then worked for Omega Cabinets 30-plus years. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Survived by: her husband; a son, Ben Miller of Altoona; a stepson, Mike (Shannon) Benson of Jesup; three grandchildren, Jaryd, Haleigh and Adysen Benson; her mother, Frances Wright; four brothers, Joe, Mark and Tony Miller, all of Waterloo, and Greg (Lynette) Miller of Grundy Center; two sisters, Michelle (Jeff) Mason of Sumner and Melissa (Kurt) Schmitz of Waterloo; two stepbrothers, Ken Wright of Illinois and John Wright of Waterloo.
Preceded in death by: her father; and stepfather, Jim Wright.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, and Overton Family Service, with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 6:30 p.m. time of remembrance and sharing.

Teresa will be remembered as a loving, caring and generous friend and family member. She enjoyed life and brought a lot of fun and humor to those she loved with her infectious laugh (and sneeze)! Teresa treasured the time she spent on cruises with Allen and their friends Darwin and Mary Westendorf.
