Esther Jeanette Cook, 98, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died Friday June 19, 2015 at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center.
She was born July 30, 1916 in Grundy County near Cedar Falls, the daughter of Frank and Pearl (Bickner) Mathes.
She married Clyde K. Cook May 21, 1933 in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death January 17, 2001.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Joan Babcock, three grandchildren and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday June 23, 2015 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Washington Chapel Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.
