He was born on April 28, 1943 to John and Ruth (Edwards) McDonald in Alamo, TN.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Nelda Avera McDonald; brothers, Ronnie McDonald and Eddie McDonald; and sister, Ruth Evelyn Yeager.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, 2:00 pm at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
