Funeral services for Diane “Nanny” McDaniel will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2015, in White Oaks Memorial Chapel with Reverend George Swain, Sr. officiating.

Committal service will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

“Nanny”, 57, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 21, 2015 in the Oakdale Community Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born September 25, 1957 in Oakdale to Helen Faye Eastwood Sirman. “Nanny” was a Pentecostal by faith, a loving homemaker, wife, mother, “NANNY”, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.


She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Sirman; her grandfather, Willie Bill Eastwood; her grandmother, Tressie May Hargrove; and her granddaughter, Diane Savannah Richmond.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her husband of 19 years, Delvin McDaniel of Oakdale; one daughter, Shairon Richmond of Ten Mile; three sons, Rusty (Amanda) Richmond of Oakdale, Allen Richmond of DeRidder, and Devin (Cheyenne) McDaniel of Burr Ferry; her grandchildren, Jacob Gassiott, Rusty Baker, Lucas “JT” Richmond, Koda Richmond, Alliey Richmond, Dakoda “Bubba” Richmond, Savannah Richmond, Lucas Kelley, Eli Kelley, Savannah Guillory, and Caitlan Moyer; one great grandson, Greyson Olivier; two sisters, Louise Davis and Linda (Phillip) Odom all of Oakdale; two Just Like daughters, Rachel Williamson and Jodi Johnson; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will begin in the Chapel of White Oaks, Monday, June 22, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m., then on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m., and on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 service will be in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m.
