She graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1949. Caroline was a homemaker and a member of the West Liberty Presbyterian Church. Years ago when her children were in 4-H, she was a 4-H leader. She loved sewing, quilting and working in her garden.
Survivors include a son, Bradley W. and wife, Beth Cooper, of Slippery Rock; three daughters, Nadena L. and husband, Bill Kramer, of Carlton, Sylvia J. and husband, Larry Morrison, of Slippery Rock, Lisa B. and husband, Rob Leach, Linwood, KS; a brother, J. Fred and wife, Ina Mackey, of Slippery Rock; two sisters, Myrtle Shirey of Callensburg, Anna Mae and husband, John Richards, of Slippery Rock; seven grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Albert.
