Alice Hale, 78, of Caryville, died Saturday in Xenia, Ohio. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Pauline Williamson and Lexie Loy, both of (unreadable), Alene Kirkland of Xenia, Ohio, Pearl Hargrove of Dayton, Ohio; sons, Arzo Hale of Caryville, Avery Hale of Middletown, Ohio, Leo Hale of Dayton, Ohio, James Hale of Vandalia, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Anna Lloyd of Oliver Springs, Tn.; five brothers, Jessie Phillips of Devonia, Ike Phillips of Cleage Corner, Ohio, Ethel Phillips of Clinton, John Phillips and Sam Phillips of Caryville.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. J.T. Leach and the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial was in Harness Cemetery.
Cross Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.
