Again on October 12, 1887, in the town of Richwood, the messenger of death entered the home of M.M. Kincannon and took to her eternal rest that vernerable mother and lady, Mrs. Lucy B. Kincannon; wife of Wm. Kincannon. She was born in Sevier county, Tenn. in 1803, emigrating to Wisconsin in 1847 with a family of ten sons, thus being one of the first settlers of the county, enduring all the privations incident to a pioneer life, with that heroic fortitude so richly attested by the large concourse of sympathetic friends who followed the remains to their final resting place.
