George Lawrence Allred, 66, formerly of Paris, died of pneumonia Thursday noon in Ft. Worth.

He had been living there the past two years, being employed by the Federal Finance Co. He had operated dairy and produce businesses here and also a motor line.

The funeral will be held here Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Gene Roden & Sons Chapel, with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Lester Singleton at Ramseur Baptist Church will officiate.

Mr. Allred was born in Paris Dec. 9, 1887, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Allred.

His wife, Mabel, died about a year ago.

Surviving are these children: Ralph Allred, Thomas Allred, Billy Joe Allred, and Jimmy Allred, all of Dallas; Sgt. George T. Allred, U.S. Army in Korea; Mrs. John W. (Sara) Carpenter, Jr., Wichita Falls; Mrs. Dwight (Mary) Elledge, Paducah, KY; Mrs. Carl (Mable) Moore, Paris, and Mrs. Florence Allred Stewart, now of 1000 3rd S.E. here; 10 grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: Clifford S. Allred, Cathedral City, Calif; C. R. Allred, Norman, Okla; Mack A. Allred, San Francisco, Calif; Mrs. W. C. Conder, Commerce; Mrs. Fred Harris, Millbrae, Calif; Mrs. Sue Wortham, Hugo, Okla; and Mrs. John Welch, Paris.
