Mary Ethel Link, 93, 403 W. Walnut, Greensburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1986, in the Mt. Vernon Nursing Center in Southfield, Mich.
Link was born June 20, 1893, in Decatur County, the daughter of William and Olive Walker Tucker. She was a member of the Greensburg Presbyterian Church and the Evening Belles Extension Homemakers Club. She worked many years as a clerk for the former Batterton's Drug Store.
She married George E. Link in Greensburg and he preceded her in death in December of 1946. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Robert (Sara) Whalen, Oak Park, Mich., Mrs. Bernard (Dorothy) Fetch, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Ethel Atwood, Greensburg; three sons: George E. Link, Greenfield, Robert Link, Waverly, Tenn., and Donald Link, Kissimmee, Fla.; two sisters: Mrs. John (Cora) Schilling, Greensburg, and Mrs. Alvin (Martha) Harding, Sarasota Fla.; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, two brothers and two sisters.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home in Greensburg, with the Rev. F. William Clemenson officiating.
Burial will be in the South Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
