Carla Jackson, 68, of Topeka, passed away June 12, 2015 at her home. She was born October 7, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was raised by her parents, George S. and Peggy (Noland) Pearson in the greater Kansas City area, graduating from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas in 1964. She graduated from the Kansas City Diesel School in 1977 and became a truck driver. Carla was also an accomplished singer. She loved to sing and she very much enjoyed playing with her four dogs.

Carla married Lee Jackson on January 3, 1998 in Topeka, Kansas. Lee survives his loving wife. She is also survived by her daughters, Kim Belsha, Kelley Douglas and Kozette Theel; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Diana Ford, Crystal Bearden and Stacy Kennedy.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Larry Pearson.

A Memorial celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service with visitation following the service until 9:00 p.m.
