Roy L. Grant, Sr., 91 passed away on June 2, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Grant retired from the Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company after 45 years of service.
Those left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Yvonne Brewington(John) and Lisa Grant, two sons, McDale Grant(Edith) and Melvin Grant, 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, two sisters-in-laws, Mildred Gray and Bessie Peoples and a brother-in-law, Clarence Pope and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church East End, 1408 Marshall Avenue, NN, VA. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
