#18 Josiah3 Keep (Samuel Keep #4), b. 11 November 1713, Longmeadow, MA, d 29 Jul 1777; m May 1737 Lois Noble of Westfield, MA, b Jul 1708, daughter of Deacon Thomas Noble.
They settled in that part of Brimfield, MA which is now Monson, Josiah was a mamber of the church at Brimfield being seated in 1757 "in the third Seate in the Boyde." At the organization of the church in Monson in 1762, he was one of the original members. Leaving no will at his death, his farm passed to his son Josiah, his daughters never married and lived on the old homestead.
