Honea Path – George Allen Smith, 90, widower of Edna Elizabeth Johnson Smith, of 301 Elizabeth Street, died June 19, 2015 at his home. Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Major and Lillian Gambrell Smith. He was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and was retired from Chiquola Mills. Surviving are: two sons, Keith Smith of the home and Bobby Smith of N. Augusta, a brother, Robert Earl (Linda) Richey of Honea Path, and four grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Bronson and Brooke Smith. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a son, Michael Smith, a daughter, Donna Marie Smith, and four brothers, J.C. John, Charlie and Otis Smith. Burial in Garden of Memories. Parker-White-Pruitt Funeral Home.
