The Rev. Ken Griffin, 79, of Mason Street, Greeneville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday at his home.
He was a member of the House of the Lord Church.
He retired from MECO after more than 20 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years: Nancy Griffin; children and spouses: Teresa and Robert Vest, Kermit and Lisa Griffin, Tommy Griffin, Janie and Chuck Lowe, and Bert and Lynne Griffin; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Dorothy and Lynn Mercer, and Mary Britton; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Ray and Barbara Griffin, and Johnny Griffin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son: Kenny Ray Griffin; a grandson: Jerome Barkum; his parents: Claude and Ruby Griffin; and a brother: Fay Griffin.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel.
The Rev. Ray Shelton and the Rev. Lynn Mercer will officiate.
Interment will be in River Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Jeffers, Dustin Newton, Kendall Griffin, Quentin Taylor, Chuck Lowe and Thomas Lowe.
