Marty Adler was a dedicated, conscientious Educator, and a prolific, ardent "keeper of the flame" for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Mr. Adler was the founder, curator, historian, and memorabilia maven for the Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Fame. He donated many of the Hall of Fame items, such as baseballs, uniforms and programs, to the Brooklyn Baseball Gallery at MCU Park. As assistant principal at I.S. 320, he fought a tireless campaign to change the name of the school to the Jackie Robinson Intermediate School 320, and prevailed. In 1984, he helped arrange the first, Hall of Fame induction ceremony, outside the central, Brooklyn Public Library on Grand Army Plaza. May this special gentleman's passion and spirit be remembered, just as he memorialized each of the Brooklyn players.
