Anthony Matthew Keck, age 36, died on Monday, June 15, at Bethesda North Hospital, after sudden complications from pancreatic cancer. He was born in Cincinnati to ... and was the second oldest of eight children. Tony's surviving family members who will forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, ...; his adoring daughters, ...; his devoted parents ...; his grandfather, ...; his siblings: ...; his grandfather-in-law, ...; his sibling-in-laws, ...; his nieces and nephews: ...; and his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tony was preceded in death to new life by his little brother, Matthew Nicholas Keck, grandfather James Keck, grandmother Pauline Raig, and grandmother Leona Keck. Tony worked for the family business, ..., as a transportation broker for the last ten years. His hobbies and interests were the latest technology in computers and audio/visual, studying WWII, all things political, the stock market, and "good" music. Tony wrote, performed and recorded many songs for loved ones. His wife and daughters were his pride and joy; their safety and happiness were his primary concern. Tony will be remembered as a talented musician, a smart, witty, and humorous writer and conversationalist, but mostly for his unceasing love and devotion to his wife and daughters. His life has improved our lives and the world as a whole, and he will be loved and missed beyond measure forever. The funeral Mass is taking place on Friday, June 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Brookville. Following the burial at St. Michael Cemetery, friends and family are invited to the Brookville K of C Hall for a meal celebrating Tony's life. Memorials may be made to the Tony Keck Family Fund.
