Buron "Butch" Walters. They were married June 7, 1964 in Paris, Tennessee.
She received her bachelor's degree from Murray State in Kentucky and her Master's degree from the University of Illinois both in Library Science. She worked in many library fields such as academic and medical and was a member of the Havana Southern Baptist Church. She died at Unity Point Health Methodist Hospital.

Her mother; three children: Lucinda Jo Walters of Phoenix, AZ, Loren Thomas Walters of Warren, MI and Leon Thomas (Becca) Walters of St. Peters, MO; two grandsons: Niklas Thomas Walters of AZ and Jacob Thomas Walters of MO; two brothers: Eddie McElroy and Randy McElroy and four sisters, Violet Jean Brubaker, Joan Smothers, Judy Sutton and Delissa Koe Jessie.

Funeral services held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Don Full officiating.
