BOWSER George D. Bowser, 90, of Davidsville, formerly of Ursina, passed on to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. He was born July 2, 1924 in Unamus to Elwood Bruce and Esther (Cramer) Bowser. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Virginia “Ginny” Lee (Taylor) and his second wife, Gladys Mae (O’Neal) Talbert Bowser, sisters, Lydia Marie Swayne and Thelma Richter and brothers-in-law, Leo Swayne, Ed Richter, Scott Koontz, Donald O’Neal and John Harned. He leaves a son, Robert G. Bowser and wife, Judy, Ursina and Cape Coral, FL, daughter, Stephanie J. Arrich and husband, David, Murphys, CA; grandsons, Jeffrey Arrich, New Hampshire, Jeremy Arrich and wife, Paula, Sacramento, CA, David B. Bowser and wife, Tanya, Flemington, NJ and Daniel Bowser, Germany; twin sisters, Elaine Koontz O’Neal, Confluence and Elois Harned, Tacoma, WA; also, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11 AM in the United Community Church of God in Ursina with the Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating. A private inurnment will take place at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Fort Hill at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Laurel View Village, 2000 Cambridge Dr., Davidsville, PA 15928 or the United Community Church of God, 405 Park St., Confluence, PA 15424.
