EVERETT CASON

1930-1998


Everett Lawton Cason was born on 11 Oct 1930 in Pierce County, Georgia to John Manuel Cason and Mary Arelia (Clark) Cason. He died on 11 Jan 1998 in Waycross, Ware County, Georgia from an apparent heart attack at the age of 67. He was a carpenter by trade with the Barnard Corporation where he worked for many years. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. Her served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Simon Shadrick Cason and James Allen Cason; and sisters, Mary Ann Cason and Carolyn Virginia Cason. He is survived by his wife, Lilyphine (Boyett) Cason; a son and two daughters; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four sisters, Sarah Bell (Cason) Boyette, Maggie Lee (Cason) Johnson, Bertie Mae (Cason) Miller, and living sister; and four brothers, Samuel Reppard Cason, John Randle Cason, Lewis Monroe Cason, and Pastor Frank Shexure Cason; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
