Born in Rockdale County, she had lived in Atlanta for the past five years. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Rockdale County, where funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The Rev. Frank Clay will officiate. Burial will be in the Sodom Cemetery, Rockdale County.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Almand of Hapeville, Mrs. Major Knight of Decatur and Joe Martin of Lithonia; two sons, Otis Lee Peek of Milstead and Charlie Peek of Decatur; a brother, A. A. Anderson of Stone Mountain; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
