Anne Perkins Harris, 81, of Bumpass, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Harris was the twelfth child of Marion and Blanche Hubbard Perkins. She was the widow of Alvin S. "Toot" Harris Sr. She was preceded in death by eight sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include her children, Stan Harris (Debbie), David Harris, Janis Harris and Kelly Saunders (Tracy); brother, William Perkins; seven grandchildren, Brad, Brian, Brandi, Shannon, Ryan, Melodi and Taylor; four great-grandchildren, William, Carter, Mackenzie and Isabelle; and a baby girl to arrive in the fall.
The family received friends from 6pm to 9pm on Friday, June 19, 2015, at Hopeful Baptist Church. A service was held at 10am on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at the church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
