LeROY — Nancy L. Bentley, 77, of LeRoy, passed away at 5:22 a.m. June 5, 2015, at her home with her children, family and dear friends at her side.A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, LeRoy. The Rev. Ellen Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the LeRoy Emergency Ambulance Service, OSF Hospice or LeRoy Fire Department.She was born June 21, 1937, in Gridley, the sixth child of John and Doris Phillis Bristow. She married David Imig of Stanford and had two children, Timothy Imig and Toni (Joe) Trenkle, alll of LeRoy. She married Blair Sanders and had a son, Tracy (Lisa) Sanders of LeRoy. She later married Ralph Bentley.She is survived by all of her children. Also surviving are her pride and joy, grandchildren Mindi (Justin) Marcum, Zachary (April Gum) Trenkle, David (Bailey McBurney) Imig and Ashley Sanders; and the apple of her eye, her great-grandchildren Makana, Samuel, Maddux and Cylas Marcum; and Kyle and Kaden Trenkle. Also surviving are her siblings, Marilynn Jordan, Utah; Lois Dungan and Linda Elias, both of Texas; Jack Bristow, Arizona; Bonnie Gehrt, Tennessee; Duane (Ruth) Bristow, Nevada; Larry Bristow, Pontiac; and Marcia (Pete) Todd, Bloomington. She is also survived by her dear and loyal friend, Dixie Wardrip, LeRoy.Nancy was on the LeRoy City Council for four years and was a strong fundraiser for LeRoy. Sheworked very hard to get funds for the town of LeRoy fireworks display for 15 years, which became a town tradition. She operated The Tanning House tanning salon from her home for many years.Her greatest joys were her kids, her brothers and sisters and her friends.
