Born August 3, 1933, in Town Line, Luzerne County, a son of Ethel (Reider-Davenport) Van Horn of Shrewsbury and the late William Van Horn, he was retired from Motor Freight Express, and was a member of Central Pennsylvania Teamsters.
After retirement he had also worked as a security guard.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Margaret D. (Midget) Van Horn; and three sisters, Betty Royer of Shrewsbury, Louise Martin of Loganville, and Gloria Dillon of Phoenix, Ariz.
A graveside service at Paddletown Cemetery, Newberrytown.
