Frances (Meagher) Walton was married to Kenneth C. Walton and was the mother of 3 boys: Fred, Darrell, and Ron and six girls: Lois Evans, Jean Stamps, Shirley Ellingwood, Darlene Clark, Carolyn Walton, and Judy Oltman. She worked hard most of her life and was loved by all that knew her. She loved working with flowers and crafts. Frances was a homemaker, worked at Gould's Greenhouses in Crawfordsville for many years, worked at the Cleveland Bakery in Crawfordsville, and worked for 12 years at Love's Flower shop in Muncie. She was a loving and wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Frances is the daughter of William C. and Mae Meagher. She was the oldest child of 13. When mom passed away at the Ben Hur Home on that warm day in June, four of her kids were there in grief. The nurses and staff at the home all loved mom and when the end came they all broke down in tears. The Lord blessed us for over 94 years. She is sadly missed and will always be loved.
