Mr. Morrison was a retired West Lafayette police officer, serving from 1955 to 1975. He was superintendent of Purdue University golf courses from 1975 until his retirement in 1994. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 11, and was active in the West Side Youth Baseball Program. He was an avid outdoorsman.
Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Julie (& Brent) Weatherwax of Lafayette, Kitty (& Jeff) Hodge of West Lafayette, and Sarah (& Greg) Notestine of Columbus; a son, Dan (& Sherrie) Morrison of West Lafayette; two sisters, Ruth Jones and Pat (& Dean) Ribordy, both of Lafayette; a brother, John Morrison of Monticello; and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Albertha (Golden) Morrison.
