She was born on April 28, 1928 in Green Ridge daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Daisy Dexheimer Stephens.
She was married on Dec. 24, 1949 in Sedalia to Clyde Scott who preceded her in death on April 13, 1994.
Marian graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1946 and then from Central Business College in 1947. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching University of Missouri Basketball and St. Louis Cardinal Baseball. She also enjoyed reading and was interested in the history of the Civil War. She loved her grand dogs Maggie Mae and Finnigan.
She was preceded by two sisters; Helen Short and Dorothy Hudec, two brothers; Harold Stephens and Clayton Stephens.
