JEFFREY ALLEN SIDES, 47, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, in Duncan.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Kansas Cemetery, Piedmont, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
The family will visit with friends Thursday, June 18, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
Jeff was born on May 21, 1968, in Oklahoma City to Sherrie and Allen Sides. He graduated from Duncan High School in 1986. He married Carrie Pannell on June 7, 1990. Together, they had a beautiful daughter, Cara Michelle Sides.
Jeff owned a machine shop in Duncan for many years. He was a member at the Biker Freedom Church and the Duncan Moose Lodge. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers in the Colorado mountains, loved playing golf and spending time with friends. He adored his daughter, Cara, and his dogs, Taz and Bongo. He was an avid storyteller and jokester. He was a precious son to Sherrie and Bill Shannon.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Lynn (#37430988); his sister, Julie Diane (#37430984); father, Allen Sides; grandparents, Peggy and Kenneth Sides, JoAnn and Alex Flint, and Vi and Bob Shannon.
Survivors include his daughter, Cara Sides; parents, Sherrie and Bill Shannon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers are Dennis Sides, Robert Henderson, Steve Earnhart, Dude Sanford, Tyler Yarborough, Thomas Lassley and Jeramy Lassley.
Honorary bearers are Steve Jones, Mike Stinnett, Cameron Brooks, Darrell Alaniz and Kenny Sides.
