SALEM - Alta was born in Hebo Oregon to parents Ernest and Tessie Lightfoot on December 4, 1917. Just 2 weeks before her 95th birthday she passed away on November 20, 2012 while in residence at Hawthorne House located in Salem Oregon.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 1, 2012 from noon-2pm at the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center, (287 SW Washington Street, Dallas OR). A catered buffet of the family's favorite Alta recipes will be served with wine and beverages.
The family wishes to extend our many thanks and appreciation to Michelle Nixon and the entire staff of Hawthorne House for their wonderful care of Alta. Memorial contributions are suggested in lieu of flowers to the National Parkinson Foundation, in care of Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center who is handling the arrangements.
