BUCYRUS: Rev. Bobby Lee Nolen Sr., 68, of Sugar Grove passed away on Wednesday June 17, 2015 at Heartland of Bucyrus following an extended Illness.
Bobby was born October 21, 1946 in Lewis County KY to Clevie Nolen who survives in Vanceburg and the late Dinah Jean (Bloomfield) Nolen. Bobby was married June 18, 1966 to Sandy (Stone) Nolen in the Sugar Grove Full Gospel Church. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by brothers Arnold Dean Nolen, Bennie Nolen, and Marshall Paul Nolen.
Bobby is also survived by children Bobby (Michelle) Nolen Jr., Rachel (Brent) Green, and Diana (Don Garrison) Nolen all of Bucyrus; grandchildren Tosha, Nigel, Megan, Brittany, and Briana; two great grandsons, Koven and Kolten; brothers, Frank of Vanceburg and Ermel of Bucyrus; sisters, Catha (Levell) Miller, Bucyrus; Judy Dawson of Woodville, OH; Shirley (Keith) Brown of Bucyrus; and Nancy Nolen of Bucyrus; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a Minister for over 40 years. He served the Lord and pastored Sugar Grove Full Gospel Church and the people of that community for over 24 years. Bobby moved to Bucyrus from Kentucky when he was 15 years old and loved serving the Lord, serving his family, gardening and canning.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Angel officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 pm.
