Tim Lee Lance, 75, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed from this life on July 7, 2005.

Lance was born November 17, 1929, in White County, Tennessee to Frank Lance and Mollie Goodson Lance.

He had been a retired roofer.

Lance was preceded in death by his parents; one son, David Earl Lance; two brothers, Claude Sandy Lance and Luther Lance; and one sister, Mag Stanfield.

His survivors include his devoted, loving wife,
Maxie Eugene Powers Lance, of Georgia; three sons, Roger and Judy Lance, of McHenry, Illinois, Rick and Sue Lance, of Algonquin, Illinois, Ronald and Cindy Lance, of League City, Texas; three daughters, Pat and Jimmy Randolph, of White County, Hope and Jonathan Heady, of Toledo, Ohio, April and Nick Goldman, of Crandal, Georgia; nine sisters, Morine Looney, Willie Harris, Ruth Marshall, Linda Williams, Mary Stamps, Edna Pauline Knowles, and Jeral Deen Johnson, all of Tennessee, Betty McGee, of Purle, North Carolina, Darlene Lance, of Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services conducted on July 11, 2005, at Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Saylors Cemetery.

Paul Bradley will officiate.
