Amelia married Andrew Jackson Hamilton, March 12, 1860, Portland, Maine. He was born October 31, 1828, North Yarmouth, Maine, son of Jacob Hamilton and Mary D. (Chandler) Hamilton. Andrew died serving in the Civil War in Louisiana, possibly in a prison.

Andrew and Amelia had one daughter, Mary Discoe (Hamilton) Keppel [November 22, 1862, Chebeague Island, Maine - April 28, 1949, Los Angeles, California] She was a missionary in China sometime before she met James.

Mary married James Joseph Keppel, May 2, 1887, Washington, District of Columbia. They had three sons and two daughters. James was born March 17, 1863, Carlow, Ireland, immigrated to New York City in 1884, and died January 30, 1921, Westwood, New Jersey. James was a Baptist Minister and a Colonel in the Salvation Army. He got a blister on his foot while preaching on the sidewalks of New York City. He died from blood poisoning of this blister.

Amelia married William Henry Phillips about 1867 in Maine. William was born March 11, 1835, North Yarmouth, Maine, son of Henry A. Phillips and Jane Dorcas (Griffin) Phillips. William died about 1883.

Amelia and William had a son Charles Henry Phillips [October 10, 1873, Lewiston, Maine - June 18, 1928, Lewiston, Maine] and a daughter Nellie Amelia (Phillips) Price [March 28, 1868, Maine - January 4, 1955, Los Angeles, California]. Nellie married James W. Price.
