Joy Stewart, 101, of Harvard, died Tues., June 17 at Williams Bay Care Center in Williams
Bay, WI.
She was born Sept. 9, 1913 to Rollo and Lillian (Ladd) Burroughs in Chemung, IL. She
married Clarence Steward on Jan. 24, 1937 in Chemung, at the family farm house.
Clarence died on Sept. 17, 1995.
Joy was care giver, and enjoyed croqueting, sewing, knitting, and many other crafts.
She is survived by her daughters: Carol Johnson of Janesville and Sue Stewart of
Belvidere, grandchildren: Roy and George Heincig, and great grandchildren: Mia, Makena,
and James Heincig.
She is preceded by her parents, and brothers: John and Ladd Burroughs.
The visitation will be 10am until the 11am funeral service Friday, June 19, at Saunders &
McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, IL. The interment will be at
Dunham-Chemung Cemetery in Harvard.
