Naples, Mr. Angelo Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away unexpectedly at his home Monday, June 15, 2015. Age 90 years. The son of the late Mario and Antoinette (Napolitano) Naples, Angelo was born December 7, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Helen Gross, his loving wife of 65 years, on September 3, 1949. She survives him. Angelo proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during WW II and was a member of V.F.W. Post #1566. He was employed at CSX Railroad for 43 years until his retirement in 1985. Angelo was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus Council #593. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football, but most of all loved time spent with family and friends. Surviving besides his wife Helen are three sons and one daughter, Dr. Thomas Naples, Hemlock; David Naples and Phoebe Williams, Saginaw; Gerald and Lydia Naples, Saginaw; Nancy and Jerry Sefcik, Saginaw; two grandchildren, Anthony and Kate Naples, Sarah and Dakota Stapleton; one brother and two sisters, Ralph Naples, Nancy Naples and Constance Frankoviak. Angelo was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother, Anna Esgro, Virginia Wilson and Frank Naples. Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate with interment in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Vigil Service 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression may wish to consider memorials to Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
