Cesily Michelle (McWashington) Crowser

A "Celebration of Life" for Cesily Michelle (McWashington) Crowser will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Madrona Grace Presbyterian Church, 832 - 32nd Avenue, Seattle, Washington, 98122. Guests are invited to wear purple (her favorite color) or red for GoRed for Women. Cesily, a heart survivor passed away in Seattle on February 22, 2014.

Cesily was a Parent Education Instructor at North Seattle Community College. She attended schools in Seattle including St. Edwards, The Epiphany School, and Holy Names Academy. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1987 and from Occidental College in 1991. Cesily was currently pursuing a Masters Degree at the University of Southern California.

Cesily loved working with people and was an active member of many community organizations, including the board of the People's School for Positive Education in Ghana, Africa. Her previous affiliations also included Jack & Jill of America, Inc. and the Links, Inc.

Cesily delighted in being spokesperson for The American Heart Association's GoRed for Women. Her message was to encourage women to get heart healthy and to "put yourself first."

Cesily is survived by her husband of 22 years, Jerald; two children, Victoria and Phillip; her parents, Ammon McWashington and Deloria Jones Jackson and her brother, Ammon Shawn McWashington and many loving family members and friends.

Viewing will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 1-5 PM at Greenwood Memorial Park, 350 Monroe Avenue, NE, Renton, WA 98056.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the "fbo Victoria and Phillip Crowser" account, c/o Seattle Bank, 2827 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98121.
