Annie Marcelle is the daughter of John Effus an Myrtie Ann Bailey Carter.

Annie Marcelle married Sidney Cabell Lockett Jr. on April 27, 1944 in Richmond, Va. To this union they where blessed with two daughters, Billie Jean and Brenda.

Marcelle as everyone called her married Albert Atkinson, this union was blessed with the following children, Sue, Ricky, Donald, Johnny, and Kathy. son: Johnny Atkinson
was killed in an ATV accident in 1990.

Later Annie Marcelle married Harold Wayne Peele.
