Alfred H. Kennedy, 47 years old of Advance, died Sunday at a hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born April 13, 1918 at Zalma, son of Mrs. Mattie Kennedy Howard of Denver, and the late Robert Kennedy.
On July 18, 1943 he was married to Miss Lorene Myers, and she survives.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by five daughters and six sons Gary, Larry, Eddie, James, Darrell and David; Shirley, Nancy, Linda Kay, Mary Ann and Carol Sue; one brother, Norman of Denver, CO; two sisters, Mrs. Lutie Jett of Burfordville, MO; and Mary Kennedy of Los Animas, CA.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Berrong Baptist Church near Zalma. Interment was in the church cemetery.
