Mrs. McCoy, a native of Edgefield County was a member of Mount Canaan Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters; Katie (Bennie) Tillman, North Augusta, S. C. and Dorothy (Earl) Powell, Atlanta, Ga.; three sons, Robert (Lorriane) McCoy, Trenton, S. C., Raymond McCoy Jr., Bronx, N. Y. and James (Edwina) McCoy, Jamaica, N. Y.; two sisters, Jennie Simmons, Williston, S. C. and Abney Bourne, Cambridge, Mass.; three brothers, Walter (Vera) Key, Jr., and Henry (Lillie) Key, Ridge Spring, S. C. and Rev. Joseph Hightower, Columbia, S. C., 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the residence.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2001, at Mount Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. George L. Brightharp officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The remains will lie in state in the church from 1:30 p.m. until the hour of service. Family and friends will assemble at the residence at 1:30 p.m.
