She graduated from Phillips University in 1949, and married Norman E. Jacobs, a Disciples of Christ (Christian Church) minister in 1954. Together they served pastorates in Scranton and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and McPherson, Kansas, and resided in Enid, Oklahoma from 1963-1980. She had lived in Edmond since 1984. Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, at the First Christian Church in Edmond where she was a member. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dr. Norman E. Jacobs, and a son, Paul. She was survived by a daughter, Martha of Edmond. Arrangements handled by Baggerley Funeral Home of Edmond.
