Doris Wilt, 96, Olathe, KS, formerly of Shelbina, died Friday, January 5, 2007, at the Olathe Good Samaritan Center in Olathe, KS.

She was born in Perry, MO, December 19, 1910, the daughter of Alva and Beulah Yancey Gregg. She married Billie Wilt. He died on April 5, 1995.

Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Ellington and husband Kenneth, Overland Park, KS, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister, Frances Marshall, and one brother, Kenneth Gregg.

Mrs. Wilt enjoyed gardening, sewing, and dancing, but especially spending time with her family.

Funeral services were Monday, January 8, at 2:00 p.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina. Burial was in the Shelbina Cemetery. Visitation preceded the funeral.

The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
